Our Services
From rountine preventative and emergency care to complex cosmetic and rehabilitative procedures, Jordan Dental Care, P.A. offers compassionate and quality dental care for all ages. You and your family are in good hands with Dr. Elizabeth Thelemann and staff. To help you understand your options, we have included descriptions of some of our main services below:
Exams and Preventative Cleanings:

Regular dental exams and cleanings are the key to keeping to your teeth healthy. A normal cleaning leaves you with polished teeth that feel great. It includes removal of any excess plaque and tartar that has built up on your teeth and gums. An exam is important since they let us check for cavities, oral cancer, and other possible oral health issues.
Bonded tooth colored fillings:
Bonding is a perfectly safe process in which a tooth color restoration is chemically bonded directly to the teeth. This allows us to lengthen short teeth, to reshape damaged teeth, whiten teeth that have been stained, close gaps between teeth, and protect chipped teeth from additional damage. Tooth colored fillings are prepared in this way and old fillings made from silver-mercury amalgams can be replaced.
Sealants:
To prevent cavities from forming in your teeth, especially permanent molars, you can have sealants placed over them. During the process, a liquid plastic is applied to a clean, dry tooth and is then cured with natural blue spectrum light. Sealants form a barrier over the pits and fissures of your teeth in order to prevent tooth decay.
Teeth Whitening:
Who doesn’t love a beautiful white smile? We offer professional whitening services that will remove the stains from your teeth and leave them brilliantly white. Our in office whitening treatment will give you the best results possible in about an hour’s time. We also offer take home whitening kits that deliver fantastic results in just a couple of weeks.
Invisalign clear braces:
Want to straighten your teeth? Invisalign clear braces are a state of the art method of doing just that. Instead of having to cement metal brace to your teeth, Invisalign braces are made from strong plastic that are invisible. They are removable, so you can brush your teeth and eat whatever you want comfortably.
Dental Crowns:
Crowns, which are also called caps, are cemented onto teeth and become a new outer surface. They can be used to strengthen teeth, for cosmetic purposes, to rebuild broken teeth, or to restore decayed teeth.
Dental Implants:
Dental Implants are the treatment of choice for a missing tooth or teeth. They mimic a natural tooth by replacing the root with a titanium post into the jaw bone, and an abutment stub above the gum that allows a crown to attach to it. Once a patient recieves an implant, they can maintain it like a natural tooth. Implants have become mainstream in the dental field and are the standard of care for jaw bone preservation and quality of life. When a dental bridge or partial denture are not desired, implants are your best choice.
Dental Bridges:
If you are missing teeth, you can replace them with a dental bridge. This can benefit you in all kinds of ways; it can improve speech problems, readjust your bite, prevent your teeth from shifting out of place, and give you a great smile. The entire process is completed in just a couple visits to our comfortable office. First, your teeth and gums are prepared for the bridge and a mould is taken so it can be made to the exact shape of your mouth. Once it is ready, you can come back and have the bridge fitted and cemented in.
Dentures:
Dentures can be used to replace your teeth if they have become seriously damaged or decayed. We fit them to the shape of your mouth so that they will be both comfortable and easy to use. Before you can get them, you will need to have any remaining teeth extracted. In order to ensure that your dentures fit properly, several oral impressions need to be taken. The dentures then must be adjusted every couple years and replaced after about seven years, but this varies by patient.

Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment):
Endodontics include root canals and other dental therapies. Our office helps prevent you from losing your badly decayed teeth through endodontic treatments that remove the pulp and root. After this, the inner cavity of the tooth is cleaned and sealed off to prevent any further damage.
Extractions:
We perform dental extractions for both cosmetic and health reasons. Wisdom teeth, for instance, are often removed to prevent teeth from shifting out of place. In order to get braces and have other orthodontic work done, you may need to have some extractions done. Extreme tooth decay may leave an extraction as your only option. Simple extractions of visible teeth can be done with a local anesthetic and some basic dental tools. Surgical extractions typically require that we make an incision in order to properly remove the tooth.
Dental Veneers:
Dental veneers improve the look of teeth while also protecting them from future damage. They are very thin and can be made from ceramic materials or porcelain. Having veneers cemented onto the front of your teeth is one way to greatly improve the look of your smile. They are a good option for people with gaps, damaged teeth, crooked teeth, or badly stained teeth. To have veneers applied, we first need to have your teeth prepared and reshaped slightly. Then a mould of your teeth is taken to ensure that your veneers will fit just right. Once that is ready, they can be placed and cemented.
