Dr. Elizabeth M. Thelemann

Elizabeth Thelemann, D.D.S is a general dentist who enjoys all aspects of family and cosmetic dentistry.   She sees patients of all ages and dental needs, including young children/adolescents, adults, and elderly. Over the past several years, she has taken advanced training for dental implant restoration. She is certified in Invisalign clear braces and a Member of the Minnesota Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She attends several Continuing Dental Education courses throughout the year and enjoys the challenge of staying abreast the new trends and improvements in dentistry.  

Dr. Thelemann grew up near Le Sueur, MN on her family’s dairy farm. She is the youngest of 8 children.  During high school she worked in a dental office and realized she wanted to pursue dentistry as a career.  Dr. Thelemann graduated with Honors from the University of Minnesota with a double Major in Spanish and Biology in 1999. She then completed her Doctorate at the University of Minnesota’s School of Dentistry in 2003. She then completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency, specializing in Geriatrics and patients with Special Needs. At that time, she also worked as an associate dentist at Lexington Dental in St. Paul. Then in 2006, she took over Jordan Dental Care, P.A. for Dr. Andrew Anderson. She is thrilled to live and work in Jordan!  She feels that Jordan is such a great fit for her family! In fact, many of her siblings and their children who live in the neighboring towns have become her patients. She finds it very rewarding to be an active part in her community and helping others!

Her warm chair-side manner and common sense approach make patients feel at ease and comfortable. No lectures or scolding, Dr. Thelemann is willing to work with you…exploring your options for your smile and will go the extra mile to keep it affordable, practical, and best for your overall health!

Giving back to the community is also important to Dr. Thelemann. She has volunteered her time and services for Give Kids a Smile Day and for special needs patients through the Donated Dental Services Program. She is currently serving as secretary for the Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.  She is married with two young children.

Our entire office shares a passionate commitment to improving the dental health of patients. We use a team-focused approach to dental care which provides exceptional patient care and makes it possible for a patient-centered approach to dentistry.
